www.solutions.org.au - SCYE is an acronym for "Strengthening Communities through Youth Engagement". The SCYE project is a sustainable collaborative strategy designed to improve inter and intra-generational co-operation, support and respect and empower communities. SCYE lays a firm foundation from which many of the issues facing communities can be addressed by them. SCYE is essentially youth driven. Sustainability is achieved as the process is easily duplicatable and can be initiated, organised and run by young people under the auspice and mentorship of the wider community, without the involvement of outside agencies. Sustainability is also enhanced via the establishment of SWYGDAI (So what you gonna do about it) which usually result from the fund raising and sponsorship of the initial project.
