Onboard Crash - Mazda MX5s (Miata) at Croft [VIDEO4]

www.driver-coaching.com - This is an onboard from Race 1 of an MX5 race at Croft Circuit. The car was fitted with the VIDEO4 system from Race Technology and driven by Malcolm Edeson of http (yes, you too can learn to crash like this). I had to dive to the right as I had been hit from behind and had I hit the green car in front there would have been the most tremendous startline pile up. I thought I'd made it passed but the yellow car whipped back across the grass in front of me at the last minute. The car was a rent-a-drive from Keystone Group who run many cars in the MX5 Championship. The car hit (yellow) was championship contender Rob Boston. Rob managed to get out in race 2 but the impact had pinched the coil cable which broke on lap 1 and he had to retire. Thankfully Rob managed to sort the problem as came back to post a podium finish in Race 3.
